After we ended a guys trip to Alaska, we knew building a relationship program in Juneau had to happen. We wanted to help people have an unforgettable experience while working on their relationship at the same time. Our careers as Marriage and Family Therapists have centered around helping people build and maintain remarkable relationships, so this program fit perfectly into our plan for an Alaskan Couples Getaway. Juneau is beautiful; people have to see it to believe it, so we wanted to help people get away and come together. It just works!

Jake and his wife Elisa have 4 children and live in Greenville, North Carolina
Associate professor at East Carolina University since 2014,
where he trains therapists.
Given national and international presentations on the influence friendships have on romantic relationships.
Respected and accepted expert in the social science fields of: couple/partner satisfaction, masculinity, and male sensitivity.
Earned multiple awards as a professor including ECU Distinguished Professor Award & Honored Instructor at ECU.
Owns and runs a part-time private practice, Jake Jensen Therapy, in North Carolina.
Published 25 articles and counting in renowned and reliable social science journals on common couples therapy topics.
Has been actively working with couples, newly weds, and young adults since 2009 while completing his Ph.D from Auburn University.
